WCSC runs in the season when Walnut Creek aquatics is busiest: rec swim at both centers, the sprayground open on weekday mornings, picnic rentals every weekend, lessons in three bays at once, and two year-round teams still training through it.
None of that is coordinated in one place today. The city publishes its part, the teams publish theirs, and the summer is reassembled by hand every May.
A season entered once is a season that comes back on its own. The Larkey summer is already sitting in the calendar waiting for Memorial Day — a swim club's season can sit there the same way, alongside the water it shares.
