Practice schedule

Live

Every masters practice this week, with the lane count for each one. Use the arrows to move between weeks.

This is the pool's one schedule with masters selected — the same calendar as the Pool Schedules page, filtered. When the pool moves a practice, this moves with it.

The card is right again on October 19, by coincidence. It reads 12:00pm – 1:15pm Weekday Lunch Practices, which was wrong on all five weekdays during the Burlingame High P.E. unit:
  • Through October 16 lunch practice is 12:10–1:10 Monday, 11:35–12:35 Tuesday and Thursday, and 12:30–1:30 Wednesday and Friday. Those times were published only in a banner and a footnote on other pages.
  • From October 19 it is 12:00–1:15 again, six lanes. The calendar switches on that date without anyone editing this page.
  • The “Upcoming Schedule Changes” box on this page still describes practice around an age-group meet on March 7–8, 2026. The meet that matters now is October 24–25, and the calendar already has it: Saturday's practice moves to 5:30–7:00 AM, before the meet, and there is no Sunday practice.
  • Where you swim is not fixed. Five to seven lanes depending on the day; Sunday is five lanes of long course, 7:00–8:30.
One calendar means one place to change the times, and every page follows.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be an experienced swimmer to join?

No, we welcome swimmers of all abilities. Our coaches work with each individual to provide appropriate workouts and technique guidance. Note: Masters Swimming is not a learn-to-swim program.

What's the difference between Masters Swimming and lap swimming?

Masters Swimming offers structured, coach-led workouts tailored for adults. Lap swimming is independent and self-directed. Masters provides a variety of workouts and a team environment.

Do I need to attend every session?

No. You may attend as frequently as works for your schedule. Many members come 2–3 times per week, while others attend almost daily.

What equipment do I need to bring?

A swimsuit, goggles and a swim cap. Some workouts use kickboards, pull buoys and fins. BAC provides kickboards and buoys, though many swimmers prefer their own.

May I try a practice before committing?

Yes. Drop-in options let you try the program before purchasing a monthly pass.
