When the lanes are yours

Live

Every lap swim block this week, with how many lanes you get in each one. Use the arrows to move between weeks.

This is the pool's one schedule with lap swim selected — the same calendar as the Pool Schedules page, filtered. Nothing here is maintained separately, so it cannot drift out of date. Drag the grid sideways for Friday and Saturday — the week is wider than a screen because Tuesday and Thursday mornings run two different lap allocations at once.

The lane count is the part the old page could not say. It read: 5:30 AM – 8:00 AM (Every Week Day) Monday 5:30–7:00: 3 lanes
  • Mornings. Monday, Wednesday and Friday you have lanes 1–3 until 7:00, then ten lanes, then the whole pool at 7:15. Tuesday and Thursday start with nine lanes plus four more at the far end until the Coast Guard takes them at 6:30.
  • Midday. Through October 16 it is not 11:00–1:15 but 12:10–1:10 Monday, 11:35–12:35 Tuesday, 12:30–1:30 Wednesday, 11:35–12:35 Thursday, 12:30–1:30 Friday — the high school P.E. bell sets it. From October 19 the calendar is back to 11:00–1:15 on its own, with Aqua Aerobics in lanes 1–3 from noon to 1:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
  • Evenings. 8:00–9:00 PM is seven lanes Monday through Thursday and ten on Friday.
  • Saturday is four lanes at 7:00 AM and a longer afternoon that grows from four lanes to eight as the teams clear out.

Pool configuration

Short Course — 25 yards

Monday afternoon through Saturday. Twenty lanes across.

Long Course — 50 meters

Sunday all day. Nine lanes. 8/24–10/16: Sundays only, no Monday AM long course.

Lane etiquette

With two or more swimmers in a lane, circle swim — keep to the right side of the lane at all times, like driving in the USA.
