Make a splash at the UCSB Recreation Center pools: two newly plastered outdoor pools and a spa. The Olympic-size Large Pool has an attached dive well, and the Small Pool is a 25-yard, 9-lane, all-shallow teaching pool. Programs for youth and adults include SCUBA, swim lessons, log rolling, certification classes and summer camps. Pool use requires a Recreation Center Membership.
Pool schedule
LiveIntercollegiate Athletics, Sport Club and Recreation programs in both pools, week by week. Tap a team in the filter row to see only its workouts, or Subscribe to add one to your own calendar.
Which lanes are open today
LiveThe Large Pool lane by lane: a lane with nothing in it is open for lap swimming. Switch to the Small Pool with the Pools menu.
The schedule is subject to change with little notice. See Recreation Center Hours for closures and reduced hours.
- Two double bookings: on October 23 and November 9, ICA Swim (lanes 7–20, 2:15–4:15 PM) overlaps ICA Women's Water Polo (lanes 12–20, 1:30–4:15 PM).
- Where an entry names no lanes ("various locations", "South 2 LC lanes"), the lanes shown are our estimate, said so in the booking.
